Belding High School Virtual Academy is a full-time virtual program for students who desire or require an alternate educational setting and experience. We are proud to meet the varied needs of our students and families through this program. Here are some of the highlights of our program:
• BHS Virtual Academy students are a part of an alternative education program, allowing them access to get involved in a more traditional student-life
• Options for graduation credit requirements that still all students to earn the same diploma as every traditional BHS student receives. Transcripts say “Belding High School”
• Instruction delivered in an online format through Edgenuity, Odysseyware, or dual enrollment
• Potential of being enrolled in electives that would break up the day and make it more enjoyable
• Ionia County Career Center (formerly known as Heartlands) classes are strongly encouraged
• Potential to be involved in extra-curricular activities
• Participate in field trips, including visiting Ionia County Career Center and area colleges
• • Flexible scheduling, including half-day schedules and fully virtual education
