The social studies curriculum for Belding Area Schools is aligned to the Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations for grades K-8 and the High School Content Expectations for grades 9-12. In an effort to provide students with a rigorous and relevant curriculum that meets State of Michigan requirements, the BAS staff has worked hard to develop a curriculum that answers the following questions:
1. What should students know and be able to do?
2. How will know when they have learned it?
3. What resources do we have to help struggling students?
4. What resources do we have to help students who have mastered the standards?
