The Technology Department is excited to share with you a project we have been working for a while called the Augmented Reality (AR) Sandbox. The AR Sandbox is what you get when you integrate a 30”- 40” sandbox with a projector and Kinect 3D sensor bar.

AR Sandboxes are being installed in museums around the world and with spare parts we had in the Technology Department we are able to bring one to Belding. As far as we know Belding Area Schools is one of the first in the state.

The Sandbox likes a dark area to preform so we suggest having it in a space that lights can be dimmed.
