Belding Area Schools offers a wide variety of community enrichment classes through their community education program in which residents may participate.

Classes 2024-2025

Classes will take place unless Belding Area Schools is closed due to inclement weather.

Adult Co-ed Volleyball- Sunday evenings: 6:00 pm—8:00 pm at the High School. November 3, 2024, through March 23, 2025. Cost is $5 per visit, due at entrance or season pass for $60 for Sunday volleyball only (must be purchased by October 31). Instructor: Kevin Montague

Adult Co-ed Volleyball- Monday evenings: 6:00 pm—8:00 pm at the Middle School. October 14, 2024, through April 7, 2025. Cost is $5 per visit, due at entrance or season pass for $60 for Monday volleyball only (must be purchased by October 8). Instructor: Shannon Rousseau

Pickleball- Sunday afternoons: 1:00—4:00 pm at the High School. October 20, 2024, through March 30, 2025. Cost is $5 per visit for Belding Residents. Cost is $8 For non-residents, due at entrance. Season passes are available to purchase anytime. Instructor:  Roger Scheiern This is Pickleball for adults 18 years and over. Please do not bring your children. 

Pickleball- Tuesday evenings: 6:00-8:00 at the High School (with gym availability). October 22nd, 2024, through March 25, 2025. Cost is $5 per visit for Belding residents. Cost is $8 for non-residents, due at entrance. Instructors:  Robert & Sherri Higgins This is Pickleball for adults 18 years and over. Please do not bring your children. 

Pickleball: Thursday Evening: 6:00-8:00 at Ellis. October 10th, 2024, through March 27th, 2025. Cost is $5 per visit for Belding residents. Cost is $8 for non- residents, due at entrance. Season passes are also available to purchase at any time. Instructor: Roger Scheiern This is Pickleball for adults 18 years and older. Please do not bring your children.  

Open Gym- Sunday Morning: 10:00 am- 1230 pm at the High School.  November 3, 2024, through March 30, 2025.  Cost is $5 per visit due at entrance.  Season passes for Sunday Mornings only are available for $60 and may be purchased by November 10 from Community Ed. This is an open gym for adults 18 years and over.  Please do not bring children.  Instructor: Paxton Partridge

Adult Men’s Basketball- Thursday Nights: 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Middle School. November 7, 2024, through April 3, 2025. Cost is $5 per visit due at entrance. Season passes for Thursday nights are available for $60 and must be purchased by October 31. This is an open gym for adults 18 years and over. Please do not bring children as there is no space for them. Instructor: Jarod Oswald

Walking Track- Sunday evenings:  6:00—8:00 pm at the High School. Free to the public. November 3, 2024, through March 23, 2025. For more information contact the Community Education office at 616-794-4646. Please know that if you bring children with you, they must walk with you. There is no available place for children to play in the gym. 

PAWS-ability Dog Training- Monday Nights at the Orchard Hills Building in the gym, 6:45 – 7:45. Cost is $150 for 6 weeks session. Dogs must be vaccinated appropriately. Class size is limited. Next session will begin Monday, March 31, 2025 through May 5, 2025. Instructor: Ann Bromley, call (919) 417-6949 for preregistration.
